"DATE SEVEN" is an ultra-limited product brewed by seven prestigious breweries in Miyagi Prefecture. The leading breweries for Season 2 Episode 5, which will be released in 2026, are "Koganesawa" and "Yamawa".

"Yamawa Style" is inspired by the dignified presence of the parent lion from the Kabuki play Renjishi. In the legendary Kabuki play, the lion casts its cub into a ravine, a trial designed to forge strength and resilience. From this act emerges not cruelty, but devotion: A relentless pursuit of perfection that mirrors the spirit of the brewer. Like the parent lion, DATE SEVEN embodies leadership and resolve, carrying Miyagi with quiet confidence onto the world stage.

This philosophy is captured in both form and flavor. The design draws on Date Masamune’s iconic polka-dot battle surcoat, interwoven with the image of the lion’s mane in motion: fierce, flowing, and dignified. On the palate, the sake reveals itself with measured grace: a seamless acidity unfolds into crystalline clarity, each note disciplined yet expressive. The finish is cool, precise, and enduring - an echo of the lion’s presence, lingering long after the moment has passed.

A portrayal of strength refined through restraint, Yamawa Style stands as a testament to mastery shaped by unwavering devotion.
