"DATE SEVEN" is an ultra-limited product brewed by seven prestigious breweries in Miyagi Prefecture. The leading breweries for Season 2 Episode 5, which will be released in 2026, are "Koganesawa" and "Yamawa".

"Koganesawa Style" is inspired by the spirited vitality of the lion cub from the Kabuki play: Renjishi. The lion cub, cast into the depths, rises with courage & resolve. This iconic scene speaks to the essence of this year’s expression. Crafted exclusively with Miyaji grown sake rice, Miyagi yeast and shaped by the hands of Miyagi artisans, this DATE SEVEN release is a singular voice of place. Like the cub’s climb, it embodies a bold step forward: to carry its origin beyond its borders and onto the world stage

The bottle design pairs Date Masamune’s signature polka-dot motif with the image of the cub in motion: Light, graceful, yet filled with intent. This spirit carries through the sake itself. Aromas of fresh melon lift gently from the glass, leading into a supple, finely textured palate. Bright acidity provides clarity and lift, guiding the experience toward a finish that is both clean and luminous—delicate, yet assured.

Koganesawa Style is an expression of vitality and emergence: Born of Miyagi, and poised to meet the world.
