This is the fifth and final edition of Noguchi special 88 years old sake in commemorations of Noguchi-sans 88th birthday, only 888 bottles are brewed and lesser are allocated to outside of Japan.

This edition marks the culmination of the Noguchi Yamahai 2020 Vintage, using exclusive Yamadanishiki rice from Hyogo prefecture. This sake uses brewing methods of both signature sakes, "Noguchi Junmai Daiginjo" and "Noguchi Yamahai 2020 Vintage".

Noguchi Toji, now 88 years old, has been a Toji since the young age of 27. He has won 27 Gold Medals at the Annual Japan Sake Awards among uncountable other awards over his career and was even presented with the prestigious Yellow Medal of Honor for Master Craftsmanship by the Emperor of Japan.
