A very fruity and refreshing beer made with "Aragawa peaches" from Hakki Farm in Wakayama Prefecture. All the peaches are carefully pureed by hand on the day they are picked, and are used in a very luxurious manner. The fruity flavor of cloves and bananas from the weizen yeast is combined with the fresh fruitiness of peaches to create a layered aroma. Because it uses 50% wheat malt, the mouthfeel is gentle and soft, and when you put it in your mouth, you can feel the flavor of peach in the aroma that comes out of your nose. However, it does not leave a sweet taste, and the finish is dry and crisp so that you can enjoy it as a beer.
桃ヴァイツェンは4品種あり、今回は「川中島」ヴァージョンとなります。川中島の桃の特徴は、4品種の中でも糖度が一番高く、濃厚です。果実の色も赤みがかった濃い色。桃好きな方には人気の品種です。甘さは残さず、あくまでビールとして楽しんでもらえるよう、ドライでキレのある仕上がりになっています。
