Japanese Washi Paper Gift Wrapping 

Washi is a traditional Japanese paper with beautiful patterns inspired by nature, motifs resembling that of kimono designs. Washi paper relies heavily on manual processing, as the material used are delicate tree fibres that gives a soft and frothy texture. As a Japanese craft, it is registered as an intangible cultural heritage under UNESCO. Washi is part of everyday life in Japan which can be found in clothing, furniture, cooking, and commonly used in many traditional arts, such as origami and calligraphy.
