Nabeshima Junmai Daiginjo Yamadabo (720ml) 鍋島 純米大吟醸 山田穂

$199.00

Fukuchio Shuzo is unrivalled when it comes to the amount of effort that they put into researching and experimenting with a very wide range of sake rice. Always exploring different strains new and ancient, for this sake they have used Yamadaho, the mother of Yamadanishiki. The Yamadaho is a very rare sake rice today and takes expert brewers and refined techniques to work with. In this case it has resulted in a sake which is ever so soft and gentle.

Test: nabeshima

Fukuchiyo Shuzo 富久千代酒造有限会社

The Nabeshima label design is classic and easily recognizable with the prominent characters in bold calligraphy. The sake is known for its bright character, elegant and refined, yet powerful and impactful. Flavour profiles are unique and range from fruity to umami rich and dry. All sakes are Muroka, not passing through charcoal filtration which also helps to maintain a fresh and lively quality. The brand is the winner of many awards over the last two decades including many awards at the IWC since 2011.
