Paying tribute to Mie's deep rooted history of forestry, with Hinoki being a key component of the region's culture and heritage, an original concept of an American IPA with hinoki cypress was birthed. On the nose, expect piney-woody hinoki aromas and citrusy hops. On the palate, the IPA's robust bitterness and malt caramel-like sweetness rise in the mouth and then fade away leaving a dry, lingering bitterness.
