Nabeshima Shizuku Daiginjo (720ml) 鍋島 しずく 大吟醸

$339.90

The pinnacle of the Daiginjo series of Nabeshima sake, a fine sake representative of Kyushu and Japan.

Pressing for this ultra limited label, through the laborious shizuku-shibori method, yields crystal clear liquid ambrosia. With only the middle part (nakadori) of the press eventually getting bottled, this is truly highly extravagant and considered as a treasure-like work of art. Purity of the seductive ginjo aromas greet you alluringly, enticing you to lovingly sip & marvel at the brewing artistry of Nabeshima.

Test: nabeshima

Fukuchiyo Shuzo 富久千代酒造有限会社

The Nabeshima label design is classic and easily recognizable with the prominent characters in bold calligraphy. The sake is known for its bright character, elegant and refined, yet powerful and impactful. Flavour profiles are unique and range from fruity to umami rich and dry. All sakes are Muroka, not passing through charcoal filtration which also helps to maintain a fresh and lively quality. The brand is the winner of many awards over the last two decades including many awards at the IWC since 2011.
