Operating in Tatebayashi City of Gunma Prefecture, a naturally beautiful landscape within the mountainous region of Oze, the brewery gets its name from the water with which it brews, the natural spring of Ryujin. The brewing water is drawn from the Ryujin no Ido well from 180m below, a soft water that lends itself to a gentle and mellow style of sake.
The brewers practice the traditional techniques of the Nanbu guild, best known for brewing sake which is clear and fine grained.
