Tasting Notes
Bright pale lemon yellow. The nose showed aromas of golden delicious apple and white peaches, with hints of chive and leek and a subdued white pepper spicy character. Fresh soft fruit flavour and lively acidity spread across the palate, with a hint of bitterness at the back originated from grape skin. An approachable dry wine which exemplifies the flavours of Koshu. (Tasting note according to Katsunori Kaneko – May 31, 2012)
